From church choirs to southern California rock clubs, her vocal trajectory has been unstoppable. After scoring a top finish in Denver’s competitive "K5K Challenge," she anchored local favorites like Rare Heat and the acoustic duo Mr. & Soul Sister (earning a Denver Post feature). Described best as a "Soul Sister," Alise channels the raw power of Etta James, Janis Joplin, Aretha Franklin, and Alicia Keys. Whether she’s belting blues, rock, or funk, she commands the stage with rich, soaring vocals.

Stan "Stantana" Stapleton – Lead Guitar & Vocals
Known professionally as "Stantana," Stan is a virtuoso guitarist whose sonic signature bridges R&B, funk, soul, rock, jazz, and jazz-fusion. Raised in a family of professional musicians, his ear for melody and rhythm runs deep. Having spent decades performing across Florida, Texas, St. Louis, and Denver, Stan earned high acclaim—including standout work in a premier Santana tribute band. Rick Pickett – Bass & Vocals
Holding down the low end with over 55 years of playing experience, Rick Pickett is a foundational legend on the Denver music scene. Heavily influenced by masters like Jaco Pastorius, James Jamerson, Bootsy Collins, and Victor Wooten, Rick brings unmatched technical mastery and pocket-groove precision to every measure. Spanning rock, blues, Motown, funk, reggae, and country, his philosophy is simple: lock in with the drummer, support the team, and keep the dance floor packed.

Brian Bucenec – Keyboards & VocalsA native of New Jersey with rigorous classical training from age 7 through 18, Brian brings sophisticated arrangements and soulful improvisation to the band. A Fine Arts graduate of Ramapo College, Brian moved to Boulder, Colorado, where he anchored the successful classic rock outfit The Fifth Jack for eight years, followed by a decade-long run with the funk, soul, and rock powerhouse PJ Zahn. Joining Last Call in 2024, Brian’s dynamic keyboard work weaves jazz, blues, and rock together seamlessly—he has even shared the stage backing legendary Colorado blues icon Hazel Miller.

Mike Dunne – Drums
Hailing from New York City, Mike picked up the sticks at age 16 and forged his chops playing iconic historical venues like CBGB and B.B. King’s Blues Club. Bringing a dynamic mastery of rock, rhythm & blues, funk, jazz, and pop, Mike provides the rock-solid pulse and technical precision that anchors Last Call. Drawing from the great masters of classic R&B and funk, his driving beats and infectious rhythms guarantee that every single show is explosive, compelling, and built for dancing.
